Ethical Jewellery Australia is mostly an engagement, wedding and commitment ring company. However, we have made other bits and pieces over the years and it seems a shame to not bring them out into the light.
This post celebrates some of the non-ring things that have been produced for our customers. (You can also check out our gallery for more recent non-ring things.)

Meaningful jewellery
All of these pieces are significant. That has been a motivator for us all along, making pieces that have meaning for the recipient.
Each jewellery piece shown here was handmade by Ferdinand, Chris or Ann with recycled metals and Fair Trade or Fair Made diamonds and gemstones.
Pendants
40th anniversary pendant featuring a gorgeous Fair Trade ruby in recycled 18 carat white gold.
Another 40th anniversary pendant and earrings. Fair Trade ruby and Argyle white diamonds in recycled 18 carat yellow gold.
Birthday pendant – celebrating with the birthstones of the family members. Here we have gorgeous tanzanite, North Queensland yellow sapphire, Fair Trade ruby and Argyle cognac diamond and Argyle white accent diamonds in recycled 18 carat white gold.
Donation piece, used as a fundraiser for Melbourne Animal Rescue. Made to celebrate ‘Noodle the Poodle’, the much loved teeny Poodle. This pendant was made with recycled 18 carat yellow gold and palladium, and features some small Argyle white diamonds.
Earrings
Sweet 16 present. Bubblegum pink USA tourmaline in recycled white gold.
70th birthday present. Fair Trade rubies in a handmade recycled 18 carat yellow gold bezel setting.
An experiment. One is a recycled diamond, and the other is a moissanite set in recycled platinum. I’m wearing these to see how moissanite holds up over time and whether you can casually tell the difference (you can’t).
Happy Australia Day earrings. North Queensland yellow sapphire in recycled white gold.
Cuff-links
Groom gift. Handmade recycled gold cuff-links with engraving and a small hammer set Queensland sapphire.
Even though we specialise in rings, I think you’ll agree we’ve managed to make some very pretty ‘non-ring things’.
